ASTHMA PATIENTS

I am the owner of Port Huron Digital and this website.
I have also been an Asthmatic for most of my live.
At one time in my mid-forties it was so bad that I was a candidate to go in one of those plastic chambers.
I am not saying that because I want you to buy the Air Oasis Air Purifier, but just as backgound information, so that when I make a statement you know that I am speaking out of experience.
In fact I bought this air purifier from another dealer and was so impressed by it that I became a dealer myself !

Indoor air pollutants can reach 100 times that of outdoor levels with tightly sealed homes.

EPA studies indicate that the avearage home might have air pollution levels of 2-5 times higher than outdoor levels

If you have Children who are Asthmatic:

Increase Ventilation.
Please do NOT have any pets [easy to say, I know, tell that to a person who is not asthmatic. ]

Please do NOT vacuum while they around. [allow 1 hour for the dust to settle ]
Do not submit them to second hand smoke.
Use spray cans as little as possible.
Please do not deep fry in the home.
Exercise caution when buying new carpets; some eminate high levels of chemical fumes.
Keep airway / breathing irritants to a minimum. [ bleach, toilet cleaner ][or wait till they're gone]
Monitor for food allergies. [ asthma suddenly becomes worse 15 -30 min. after eating ]
Consider installing a central vacuum system or buy a Dyson like vacuum cleaner.
Test your home for Mold, Fungus, Bacteria.
Install a safe Air Purifier in the bedroom**
Purchase a safe negative ion generator. [a by-product is Ozone which might be an irritant to asthma patients]
